The picture I chose to work with was definitely a difficult one to work. Being a challenge for me, made me more determined to figure out how to make the baby (Hannah) look as if she is climbing the window shades. This version of gimp is a little better to work with than the one we used in N341, but I still found it a little user unfriendly. The last version also polluted all my Graphics icons, but this version did not, so I am going to keep it around and continue to learn its powerful options. I have recently purchased a cheap digital camera with software. After comparing Photo Studio 2.0SE, Microsoft PhotoDraw, and Gimp it is very apparent that Gimp is for high end users of graphic editors. The power of the Gimp is quite impressive and has caused me to be intrigued enough to want to learn it better.
